Here is the little bit of history on my project car.

- bought in 2004 from owner in Seattle. I actually drove cross country to pick it up on a trailer. I could write a whole blog on that trip!

- the car was originally a California car back in the 70s and 80s. from what I understand it has been a track car and autocross car for the late 90s

- car has 1971 2.2l T engine. Engine runs strong

- interior is completely bare and stripped

- lots of suspension upgrades which make it a perfect track car candidate

Here are the specs:

911TWell…after years of watching and saying “I’d like to try that”, I am finally going to give racing a try.

I am going to turn my 1971 911T into a proper race car. The car is perfect for the project. The hope is to have the car built to be raced in the vintage class of VARAC (www.varac.com) or the G70 class.

I will use this blog and category to document the progress build and also my preparation in order to actually be eligible to drive it.
