WHAT IS SO UNIQUE ABOUT THESE PRODUCTS?
OEM plugs have very weak magnets that are located inside the case. Trying to replace the magnet and attaching it securely is difficult and you risk the chance of the magnet getting loose with vibration and causing damage inside engine. This design is very unique. The lightweight plug is recessed from the outside. The strong magnet is then inserted on the outside within the plug. It will attracted filings/flakes through the bottom of the plug. The magnet can be replaced in the future with a new magnet. The small magnet will be secured by you when you are ready to use the plug by using a small amount of adhesive (glue). That way you will know how to remove it in the future.
Custom made drain plugs are available for both:
- non deep sump (748-998, monster, Hypermotard)
- deep sump (996R, 998R, 848, 1098, S4Rs)
Oil fill caps replaces the OEM plastic fill cap. The hex style drain plug replace the OEM drain plug which is hard to remove and difficult to safety wire. Filler cap comes with O-ring and two holes for easy safety wiring if required. Ducati oil drain plug is ready for safety wiring and comes with washer.
These oil drain plugs and caps require no special tools to remove.
